Every time I run "Malwarebytes" or "Spybot Search and Destroy" or my "Mcafee virus scan" in SAFE MODE it goes so far after finding "ErrorSmart" Malware then gives me Blue screen of Death. In normal mode they find the virus and they either wont delete and remove or they freeze up: This is what I get on "Spybot Search and Destroy" Company: Product: ErrorSmart Threat: Malware Description ErrorSmart claims to be an antispyware solution. When the user scans his computer with ErrorSmart hundreds of alleged problems will be found. If the user wants to fix this misidentified threads he has to purchase a licence. ErrorSmart is in close relation to SpywareBOT, AdwareAlert and other malicious software. When I use google and try to go onto websites I get redirected to Anti-virus software advertisements.. and Fake Virus scans. _____________ cheap xbox 360 games |

today a friend downloaded a .txt file on my computer and i later looked at it and it said it was about 8.4mb... which is incredibly large for a text file. i did put it into microsoft word and it said there was about 30,000 pages and roughly 1million words if that helps... but i just don't know if there could somehow be a keylogger or virus hidden in that .txt file seeing it was so large.. i use firefox, and when to the downloads window and right clicked the original download, but it did not allow me to open the file or open the containing folder... i deleted it off of the downloads window i did a full virus scan on my computer and nothing came up- i also tried to do a system restore but it told me my anti virus program was preventing it from working. i disabled my anti-virus program and tried it again but system restore still didn't work. i use norton anti-virus. long story short, from the information provided, i would like to know if i could possibly have a keylogger on my computer, how to detect it and how to remove it. thank you very much. _____________ cheap xbox 360 games |

I've been ripping songs off of videos using video2mp3 for a really long while and then a week ago, I got a computer virus--but I don't think it was from ripping but could it be? Also, if the songs are already on my iPod, does the iPod retain the virus as well yet is just unaffected by the virus? I saved all my music files on a flash drive before I reformatted my computer and I haven't installed any anti virus software yet--should I reload all my files or no? _________________ download xbox 360 games |

Norton Antivirus 2010 and Norton Internet Security 2010 are designed for use in Windows 7. Norton Antivirus 2009, Norton Internet Security 2009 and Norton 360 version 3.0 can all download a compatibility update through the Internet to make them compatible with Windows 7. I'd really recommend getting the latest version, i.e. NAV2010 or NIS2010 to be sure. __________ grow taller |

my computer has a virus called malware defense ( a fake antivirus program ) it won't let me download any new antivirus ssoft or let me run any scans. It makes my computer slow and it won''t do away. plus it says there are lots of other viruses and spyware on my computer ( which i don't know if it is true or not) but i want to get rid of them if there are so i want to erase everthing on my computer how can i do that? __________ grow taller |
